What can I even say about our wedding day? I'm not going to say it was the best day of our life, because we have had some pretty dang amazing days since we have been married, it's just getting better and better! But it was certainly the prettiest day. Every detail we thought of had an amazing outcome. Being a florist, I really appreciate all the effort that goes into the little fine details to create a whole style. I loved the stationery, the cakes (yes cakes, we had 5!) and even the misty day was perfect.
A couple of days before our wedding I headed to market and picked up my dreamy flowers, drooling over each bunch of beautiful Dahlias, Foxgloves, Scabiosa, Peonies, Julia Roses, Jasmine and Hydrangea. Making the bouquets for myself and some of my sisters who were bridesmaids was maybe one of the most fun and rewarding things I've done.
The morning of the wedding excitement filled the air as I set up the reception and made the overhead installation. Before I knew it, I was whisked away to get ready.
The rest of the day passed quickly and beautifully, and we were married before 130 of our friends and family.
